Chase is the managing partner at Urban Cottages, overseeing $80 million in assets and leading the firm’s community development and acquisition strategies. He brings expertise in financial cash flow projecting, market research, and GIS modeling.

Chase earned his undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance with a specialization in Development from the University of Denver, where he was recognized with the Burns School of Business’s Rising Star award.

In 2016, Chase began his career at Century Communities as a land acquisition analyst, identifying and contracting development opportunities in the greater Denver metro area. He then joined FMSI in 2018 as a financial manager, focusing on manufacturing, hospitality, and food production. In this role, he utilized a data-driven approach to company valuation and health analysis, resulting in robust metric-based financial reporting and the establishment of long-term business plans.

In 2021, Chase became the managing partner at Urban Cottages. One of his notable achievements includes leading the acquisition and capital-raising efforts for The Cottages at Erie Commons, a 151-unit single-family rental community in Erie, Colorado. He has also led the investment, management, and disposition of single-family detached homes, and multifamily properties in the Denver MSA.

Chase sits on the board of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA of Metro Denver), a professional trade organization representing the residential home building industry in the eight metro-area counties it serves. The HBA of Metro Denver provides its members with advocacy, networking opportunities, and education to support and improve the industry. The organization is also dedicated to providing helpful information to the public on rebuilding, finding builders and contractors, and preventing scams.

A respected leader in his field, Chase believes in fostering collaborative environments, innovative thinking, and a commitment to sustainable development. He emphasizes the importance of integrity, transparency, and long-term vision in all his professional endeavors.

Outside of his professional life, Chase greatly enjoys traveling to new places with his wife and two young children, exploring new cultures, and creating lasting memories together.
